Paul Pelosi’s attacker David DePape is in the United States illegally, Fox News reported Monday afternoon.
According to ICE, DePape overstayed his visa. He is from Canada.

The Department of Justice on Monday announced two federal criminal charges against David DePape.
“DePape was charged with attempted kidnapping, and with retaliating against a federal official by threatening or injuring a family member.” CNBC reported.

Meanwhile, his accused attacker also remains hospitalized with unknown injuries.
