AEG music executive, 45, who filmed himself sexually molesting four women as they slept gets just four years in prison

A music executive who filmed himself sexually assaulting four women as they slept after breaking into their apartments has been sentenced to just four years in prison - a light sentence that left his victims outraged.

Adam Lublin, 45, the former vice president of music entertainment firm AEG, was arrested two years ago and charged with sexually assaulting four women on several occasions between 2015 and 2019.

Lublin, who has been out on $1.2million bail since his arrest in 2019, was given what some consider a relatively light punishment after pleading guilty earlier this year to two counts of second-degree burglary as a sexually motivated felony.

He also pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Laura Ward told the court that she decided to impose a four-year sentence after ‘multiple discussions with the prosecution and the defense,’ according to the New York Daily News.

Prosecutors reportedly asked the court to hand down a 10-year prison sentence.

DailyMail.com has sought comment from the Manhattan Supreme Court.

The New York State Department of Corrections will have to decide where Lublin will serve his sentence.

'Honestly, I don’t think four years is nearly enough,' one of his victims told the court Monday in an impact statement.

In addressing the judge, she said: 'I don't think that's fair...I think you could have done better.'

The victim, who was one of three to give an impact statement on Monday, noted that Lublin was sentenced to one year in prison for each of his victims.

‘I’m glad I could help by adding in a year. I see they’ve put four years, one for each survivor.

‘It makes me wonder what year is gonna be mine.’

The woman was molested by Lublin on September 10, 2019 after she had passed out in his Manhattan apartment. She met Lublin at a party for New York Fashion Week.

She would testify that she had no idea how she eventually ended up at Lublin’s apartment.

‘How long were you playing with my dead body just laying there?’ she said. ‘It disgusts me.’

When the woman referred to Lublin as a ‘rapist,’ Lublin reportedly shook his head.

She recalled testifying before a grand jury in 2019. As Manhattan prosecutors sought an indictment against Lublin, they played footage of cell phone video showing him assaulting her as she slept.

‘Having to go and testify in front of a jury of 30 to 50 people and watch videos of you touching me and putting your fingers inside of me while I’m laying hopelessly dead’ was traumatic, she said.

One of the victims is a 22-year-old receptionist who worked at AEG. The other victims include two sisters who lived in the same apartment in the Battery Park City section of Manhattan.

The receptionist, the first known victim, said Lublin assaulted her after she passed out in his apartment on November 22, 2015.

‘I will never forget the sheer terror I felt that night,’ she wrote in her impact statement.

‘I remember for a moment waking up, motionless, with my eyes closed in fear...you hovering beside my body, grossly violating me.

‘Tears filled my closed eyelids as your fingers were inside of me,’ she said.

The assault left her with ‘recurring nightmares.’

The woman said she came forward to authorities after reading a newspaper article about Lublin’s first arrest.

At the time, she didn’t feel safe going to human resources since the assailant was a senior executive and she had just started working at the firm two weeks earlier.

‘You were in a position of power and you knew it,’ she said.

After the assault, she said Lublin behaved as if nothing happened.

‘You were oblivious to my discomfort, nonchalantly speaking to me, making me file your expenses,’ she said.

The last known victim lived with her sister at the Tribeca Pointe building in Battery Park City.

She and her sister were assaulted by Lublin, who broke into their apartment on separate occasions on September 8 and September 15, 2019.

‘I woke up that night with someone’s hands in my vagina,’ she said.

She said Lublin had never spoken to either of them.

‘It still haunts me,’ she said of the assault. ‘All the time.’

Ward commended the victims who gave impact statements for their courage and said she hoped Lublin would spend his time in prison thinking about ‘how you can come back a better person than when you came in.’

She said the prison sentence was a ‘long time coming.’

Lublin, who was wearing a black hoodie, sweats, and blue sneakers during his sentencing on Monday, gave a brief statement to the court without looking at the victims.

'I rely on my statement at the time of my plea, and I apologize to all my victims. I’m sorry,' he said.

'I'm really sorry.'

DailyMail.com has reached out to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office seeking comment.

Scott Leemon, Lublin's attorney, told DailyMail.com on Tuesday that the four-year sentence was 'fair and just under the circumstances.'

'I'd like to thank Justice Ward for all the hard work that was put into these cases,' Leemon said in a statement.

'As Adam said, he is truly sorry for the harm he inflicted.'

Lublin was vice president of talent at AEG for almost 10 years. In 2017, he left the company to go work for First Access Entertainment.

He has been photographed alongside celebrities, including Method Man, Swizz Beatz, and Maino, while being out and about on the New York City party scene.

After Lublin finishes his four years behind bars, he will have to submit to five years of post-release supervision. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.

The judge has barred Lublin from having any contact with his victims through the year 2033.
