Zelensky Lashes Out At NATO Countries.. Claims They Are ‘Afraid’ Of Moscow Because They Won’t Give Him Fighter Jets

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has now been going on for a little over a month.  There are conflicting reports from both sides, but we know that almost all major Ukrainian cities are encircled by Russia and intense fighting is going on in the East Ukrainian city of Mariupol.

As of last week, officials estimate that over 4,000 people have died in the fighting and the mayor of Mariupol estimates that 90 percent of the cities buildings have been damaged of destroyed.

Western countries have committed billions of dollars in military aid to Ukraine, including anti-tank and anti-air weapons.  Some countries have considered sending fighter jets to Ukraine to bolster its Air Force that has been decimated by the invasion.  The decision to send fighter jets has been delayed by logistical issues and concerns that the move would be seen as a major escalation by Russia.

Last night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky lashed out at NATO countries for not sending his country fighter jets while commemorating the bravery of the soldiers defending Mariupol.

The Gateway Pundit Reports

“Speaking after Biden’s speech in Poland, Zelenskyy “lashed out,” according to the Associated Press, about the West’s “ping-pong about who and how should hand over jets.”

“I’ve talked to the defenders of Mariupol today. I’m in constant contact with them. Their determination, heroism and firmness are astonishing,” Zelenskyy said in a video early Sunday. “If only those who have been thinking for 31 days on how to hand over dozens of jets and tanks had 1% of their courage.”

“So, who is in charge of the Euro-Atlantic community? Is it still Moscow, thanks to its scare tactics?” Zelenskyy continued. “Our partners must step up their aid to Ukraine.”

Apparently, it is extreme cowardice not to run into WWIII for a foreign nation.

“This should be known as soon as possible by as many people on earth as possible so that everyone understands who and why was simply afraid to prevent this tragedy. Afraid to simply make a decision,” Zelenskyy said.”
