Update: Justin Trudeau Invokes Never-Before-Used Emergency Powers Act to Quash Freedom Convoy Protests

Justin Trudeau told his caucus he is ready to crack down on the protesting middle-class workers. Trudeau plans on invoking the Emergencies Act to quash the Freedom Convoy 2022 truckers who have been protesting his tyrannical rule for three weeks now.

No dissent is allowed in Trudeau’s Canada.

Brad Salzberg at Substack reported:

In many ways, the move seems pre-ordained. If Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is going to successfully transition Canada to an authoritarian state, concrete action of this nature is necessary.

So it is that our PM has told his Liberal caucus he will invoke the never-before-used Emergencies Act to give the federal government extra powers to handle protests across the country.

“The Emergencies Act, which replaced the War Measures Act in the 1980s, defines a national emergency as a temporary urgent and critical situation that seriously endangers the lives, health or safety of Canadians.”

Only two prime ministers in Canadian history have invoked these measures. They are both named Trudeau. As obscured by Canadian media, the two share ideological affinities– appreciation of communism being one mainstay.

One of the justifications for declaring an emergency is foreign-influenced activities within or relating to Canada that are detrimental to the interests of Canada and are clandestine or deceptive or involve a threat to any person.”

Sounds more like a plan issued by Global Affairs Canada. For those who believe our current prime minister is a tyrant-in-disguise, all this makes perfect sense. Regardless of circumstance, for the past six years Justin Trudeau has been incrementally striping away rights and freedoms of Canadians.

An irony is found in the fact that it was Pierre Trudeau who enshrined individual rights into the Canadian constitution in 1982.

This also comes on the same day that a truck carrying more than 2,000 firearms was stolen in Petersborough, Ontario over the weekend.
